ICSS not only conducts combustion and efficiency testing, but we also utilize the data gathered to properly tune and optimize the process. We are not limited to combustion applications and perform a wide variety of control system tuning jobs.
It is common for our engineers during an initial effort at many facilities, to find configuration anomalies within a system, including multiple circuits performing the same function, interactions within the system causing response instability, feed-forward loops not characterized correctly, transition balancing problems, etc. This is especially true on new systems but these problems can be present even with systems that have been operating for years.
The status quo for operational ramping, unit stability and unit response can be raised to a higher quality of operation by our engineers.
